1. Introduction
Clippable Inc. (“Clippable,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting it. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and disclose personal information when you use our websites, applications, and services (together, the “Service”), including data received from third-party platforms you connect to Clippable.
This Privacy Policy is part of, and subject to, the Clippable Terms of Service. By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.
This Privacy Policy applies to all users worldwide. We aim to comply with major privacy frameworks, including the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA (CCPA), and other applicable laws. 2.1 Information You Provide Directly
Account Registration Data
When you create a Clippable account, we may collect:

- Phone number (if you choose to provide it)
- Profile photo
- Account password (stored in hashed form)
If you sign up for a paid service or subscription, we or our payment processors may also collect billing and payment details such as card information and billing address. Payment card details are typically stored by the processor and not by Clippable.
Third-Party Account Information (OAuth Data)
If you link or authenticate accounts such as TikTok, YouTube/Google, Instagram, Facebook, or other platforms to Clippable, we may receive information from those services based on the permissions you approve, such as:
- Profile details (account IDs, username/handle, profile picture, bio)
- Follower counts and audience metrics
- Analytics and engagement data (views, likes, comments, shares)
- Content metadata (titles, descriptions, thumbnails, video links)
- Analytics reports, earnings reports, or other metrics you authorize
We only access data that you explicitly authorize through OAuth or other permission mechanisms and handle it according to this Privacy Policy and each platform’s rules.
Content and Communications
We may collect:
- Videos, images, text, and related metadata you upload or generate using our tools
- Comments or messages you post within our Service
- Messages and emails you send to our support team
- Survey responses, feedback, testimonials, or referral details you voluntarily provide
Transactions and Payouts
If you participate in payment or payout features, we may collect:

Platform Providers
Platforms you connect (such as TikTok, Google, or Meta platforms) may provide information related to:

- Changes in permissions or revocations
- Actions or restrictions associated with your account on their services
Service Providers and Analytics Partners
We may receive aggregated demographic or interest-based data that helps us understand our users in general (for example, broad age range or interest categories). We may also receive fraud risk signals (for example, risky payment patterns).
Public Sources
We may use publicly available information such as:
- Public follower counts
- Public posts mentioning Clippable
- Public profile data related to accounts you link
Other Users
If another user invites you to Clippable or refers you, they may provide your email or link your content to us. We use this only for that purpose.
2.4 Mandatory vs Optional Information
We identify fields that are required (for example, during sign-up). If you do not provide required information, you may not be able to register or use certain features. Optional information can be skipped, but related features might not be available.
2.5 Sensitive Personal Information
We do not intentionally request or collect sensitive categories of data such as:
- Racial or ethnic origin
- Political opinions
- Religious or philosophical beliefs
- Trade union membership
- Genetic or biometric data
- Health or medical information
- Sexual orientation
- Precise geolocation data without explicit permission
Do not submit this type of information through the Service. If we become aware that such information was provided and is not needed for the Service, we will handle it securely and may delete it.

You may withdraw consent at any time, which does not affect processing already completed.
3.9 Restrictions on Third-Party Platform Data
Data from linked accounts (for example, Google/YouTube, TikTok, Meta platforms) is used only to provide and improve features within Clippable. We do not use third-party platform data to:
- Sell data to brokers
- Build unrelated consumer profiles
- Run unrelated targeted advertising
We follow each platform’s applicable developer policies and data use restrictions.
4. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share information only as described in this section.
4.1 Service Providers
We use third-party service providers to help us operate the Service, including:
- Hosting and infrastructure providers
- Payment and payout processors
- Analytics providers
- Email and communication tools
- Security and fraud detection services
These providers are allowed to process personal information only to perform services for us, must protect it appropriately, and are not permitted to use it for their own independent purposes.
4.2 Third-Party Platforms You Connect
When you link third-party accounts, you authorize us to:

The third-party platforms may separately log and process these interactions under their own policies.

4.7 CCPA Selling/Sharing
Clippable does not sell personal information for money, and does not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising under California law. If this changes, we will update this Policy and provide required opt-out mechanisms.
5. International Data Transfers
Clippable is based in the United States. If you use the Service from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the U.S. and possibly other jurisdictions where our service providers operate.
For transfers from the EEA, UK, Switzerland, or similar regions with data export rules, we use appropriate safeguards such as:
- Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent mechanisms
- Contractual protections requiring adequate security and privacy standards

We take reasonable and appropriate measures to protect personal information, including:

No system is perfectly secure, but we work to reduce risk and respond appropriately to incidents.

- Logging out on shared devices

We will never ask for your password via email or unsolicited message.

Data stored in backups may persist for a limited period until those backups are overwritten in the normal course of operations.

For users in California and other regions with similar laws, you may have additional rights such as the right to know what categories of personal information are collected, used, or disclosed, and to not be discriminated against for exercising your privacy rights.
8. Children’s Privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected such information, we will take steps to delete it as required by law. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us.
9. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We use cookies and related technologies for purposes including:

You can manage cookies through your browser settings. Some cookies are essential for the Service to function and cannot be fully disabled without impacting functionality.
We do not use cookies or similar technologies to run cross-site targeted advertising.

If changes are material, we will provide additional notice, such as by email or a prominent notice in the Service. Where we integrate with third-party platforms (for example, TikTok, Google/YouTube, Instagram, Facebook), we follow the applicable developer terms and data use policies for those platforms. We:
- Request only the permissions needed for the features you choose to use
- Use data only to provide or improve those features within the Service
- Respect revocation of access if you disconnect a platform
You can manage your connections in your account settings or directly within the third-party platforms.
